2. The tricolor can be hoisted only between sunrise to sunset. The flag can never be placed on the ground. The flag shall not be hoisted in half, except on those occasions when orders have been issued to hoist the flag in half at government buildings.
3. Flags can never be immersed in water. Physical damage cannot be reached in any way. Burning, damaging any part of the flag, verbally or literally insulting it can result in up to three years in prison or a fine, or both.
4. Cannot use commercial flags. The flag will not be bowed to salute anyone. If a person tilts the flag in front of someone, dresses it, wraps it in an idol or puts it on the body of a dead person (other than the soldiers of the martyred armed forces), it will be considered an insult to the tricolor. .
5. Wearing a tricolor uniform is wrong. If a person wears the tricolor below the waist and wears it, it is also an insult. The tricolor cannot also be used by making undergarments, handkerchiefs or cushions etc.
6. No letters will be written on the flag. There is no objection to placing flower petals in it before hoisting the flag on special occasions and national days such as Republic Day and Independence Day.
7. Flags cannot be used to cover the speaker's table or decorate the stage at an event. Can not use to cover roof, side or rear of a train, train or aircraft. The flag cannot be used to cover a building.
8. The position of the hoisted flag must be respectfully intact. A torn or muddy flag should not be hoisted. If the flag bursts, if it becomes dirty, it should be destroyed completely in a secluded manner in isolation.
9. If the flag is hoisted on a stage, it should be placed in such a way that when the speaker is facing the audience the flag should be on his right. One way is to display the flag in a reclined position along and above the wall behind the speaker.
10. No other flag or flag can be placed higher or higher than or equal to the national flag. Also, flowers, garlands, symbols or any other object should be placed on the flag pole.
